Great video, lots of detail. I have that impact, it might make 100 ft lbs on a good day on level 3. I’d recommend getting the spec and using a toque wrench.

These literally are the Hi Rev sport tail lights, they just repackaged and brand label them. I Got them straight from the source in china for $270

Better to just take it easy with the downshifting. There is no reason to bang it in second gear, since the car pull in 3rd gear from about 3,500 rpms. My cars transmission feels like butter. So this guy should get a car with paddle shifters.

I don't think that cheap one is real leather, most likely micro fiber leather. Honda advertises theirs as leather.

i wanted a ktuner for years i finally got one and i tuned my 2015 accord lx with a takeda intake and dual exhaust stage 1 tune. I feel no difference at all im very sad i was so hyped for this day and im so let down... idk if i did something wrong or what but it seems like everything went smooth with the flash but if anything it feels like its slower now in sport mode

I've searched high and low for these morimoto lights, I think they're discontinued 😢

A couple of points regarding the wiring: 1. Use a fuse with lower amperage for your detector than the existing fuse in the panel. 2. Your test of wire polarity was not a valid test, as the radar detector will always turn on if both fuses are seated in the fuse tap, regardless of the direction you placed the tap in the panel. When wired correctly, the fuses will be in parallel, and when incorrectly wired they will be in series. Either test the receptacle polarity with a meter or voltage probe, or see if the radar detector comes on without the existing fuse from the panel seated in the fuse tap. You want the detector to always come on whether the existing panel fuse does not exist in the tap or is blown (i.e., wired in parallel).

Man that snap ring you mentioned gave me issues on my 8th gen Si. Was doing a slave cylinder and I figured I'd buy an exedy one as I heard they make the OEM clutches for Honda and figured I'd give their slave cylinder a try. While I was in the car pumping the clutch I heard a loud POP and my outside guy yelled at me to stop. Turned out they didnt get that snap ring in from the factory and it shot off into oblivion coating my fender in brake fluid at the same time! Made the drive to my local honda dealer and but the bullet on a new OEM one. Haven't looked back since!

How was this exhaust with a dp? The front pipe and down pipe are two separate pieces on these cars right

Is it pretty much the same if I have shift paddles? I have a 2020 sport sedan and the steering wheel came with shift paddles.... any huge difference? I def plan on changing it out with a nicer type r steering wheel soon

The shift pattern can also be a legal requirement. In Australia if it's not displayed on the shifter it needs to be displayed right next to the shifter with a sticker or plate. I personally prefer it on the knob itself.

Sick video, got a question though. Can’t help but notice on the mirror caps (MCARCAR KIT Mirror Cover fits Honda Civic 10th Sedan/Coupe/Hatchback 2016-2018) says up to 2018. Believe your type r is the year 2019 model and I just want to make sure if the mirror caps still holds up well on your car. My model is 2019 as well. All in all sick build man 👌🏽

A regular civic 1.5t hatchback has a strange/bad feeling when changing gear from first to second, and they say it's the same with the type r. Does this acuity shifter fix that feeling?

Share the mods….. I’m one upgrade away, intercooler, from being full bolt ons with stage 2 tune at 380hp… how are you at 415hp?

the only times I ever got grinds was when I pushed the car hard from a launch. I installed the mid motor mount and they were gone. After I installed a short shifter from hybrid racing I got a grind 3 times on the same day just normal driving. I removed the shifter and didn’t get any but I now feel second gear being a little rough. I was going to change my fluid next oil change but I’ll try the adjuster bolt first like you said. Thank you sir. I hope you start posting soon.

Best fix is don’t drive in comfort mode that’s what causes extra wear on your synchros since you can’t rev match because it does it manually it revs too little in comfort mode and it clunks into gear making them notchy until it wears out

Adjusting the CMC made such a difference in my car! Aside from the grind, my car always behaved weirdly, letting off the clutch- almost as if it had an anvil for a flywheel haha. Seriously, it was always kind of lurching, when shifting and letting off the clutch. After adjusting the pedal stop and rod, it now behaves like a clutch! It honestly made me question my skills, which was absolutely disheartening after buying the car...
